I use both and what I have found is that using good Article Spinner that allows you to spin complete sentences and not just words or combine both – can do wonders to a content creation process

Especially when its done by someone else on your behalf.

I haven’t done many. I have a few video’s on YouTube but the number if views it already got amazes me. It certainly increases traffic. Doing targeted PLR video’s will result in even more targeted traffic.

Video marketing, using PLR videos or one’s own video, has sure come a long way since you and I did that first interview together in 2006 – at the time it was one of only 3 Internet marketing videos at YouTube, where now there are thousands…

Even two years ago when I released Using PLR Videos there still wasn’t a lot of video marketing going on, but the groundswell had started. Today, the need for videos as part of your marketing mix is so strong that I include training with 3 different video editing programs in my coaching class!

But you’re right when you say there’s still not a lot of PLR videos around – video works so well that those producing them today are using them for their own marketing, not passing them out for others to use.

As a marketer I do know how important videos have become to get backlinks and traffic to my sites and sales pages, however I have not done as many as I’d like. The one’s I have done(screen capture) have resulted in an increase in traffic and have also converted to some sales. So well worth doing – now I just need to get down to producing more

Another great post, but I’m not surprised, Joel – you and Nicole are two of the best sources for PLR and PLR information online today!

One other option I’d add, that really combines the two systems – buy good PLR and then pay a ghostwriter to rewrite them to make them unique. This gives you great content at a lower cost than straight ghostwriting, while not taking you away from your two main tasks – list-building and driving traffic into your funnels.

Great article! But then again I’m a big fan of Nicole’s too! I have yet to receive anything but the highest quality from EasyPLR.com.

I also agree that PLR should always be re-written. It should always be written in your voice. I personally use PLR to “get me started”. It gives me a topic to write about and well, I’m too much of a “rambler” to let it as is. I always have to add my imput to it too.

So to sum up a long story short, I use PLR to get me started with the idea/topic and to give me the “basics” of the article or whatever it is. Then I elaborate from there.

Your article did a good job comparing ghost written and PLR articles for content.

Which ever route is chosen, I think the pieces need to be edited so they are in your ‘voice’. No one thinks and writes exactly like you and the goal is to brand YOU.
