So I covered in my last two posts about what you can do to make the best use from private label right articles and PLR ebooks, so I wanted to cover some ideas for the other kind or private label right material that you may have.
The most popular types of PLR material are ebooks/reports and articles, but there are many other forms of PLR as well. I will try to list some of them and ideas for making the most out of them.
PLR Graphics;
- PLR graphics can come in many different forms and can be used in many different ways, all depending on what kind of graphics they are. But usually they are sales page type of graphics, like header graphics, ecover graphics, bullet point graphics, and order button graphics. So with these graphics, you are free to edit and change them to suit your needs. If the sizes are not perfect for you, you can change that and add your own text or images to them.
- If you plan on using PLR graphics, I would make sure that they are edited and changed a bit to be different. You don’t want visitors coming to your site seeing the same header graphic that they have seen on many other sites. If you can not edit the graphic much, then at least try to change or add your own text to it (this can be done in almost any graphics program).
- If you want to resell these PLR graphics, then consider packaging them together with other products that are similar or on the same topic. This should help your buyers to get more use out of the graphics. Example: If you are selling header graphics, then maybe sell some web site templates or some information about editing graphics.
PLR Websites/Templates;
- You don’t see many people selling full web sites with private label rights, but there are out there. What you mostly see are web templates being sold. These will usually come with some sort of header graphic as well and maybe some content. Before reselling, make sure that you have the rights to sell the whole package (web site and everything in it), as sometimes the rights will limit what you can or can not sell in terms of selling the site together or breaking up the content to sell separately.
- To help you resell these sites or templates, you have to be unique, as many other people may be trying to do the same thing. Since there are not many PLR web sites and templates out here (compared to ebooks or articles), there will be more people jumping on board trying to sell them.
- Web site templates are a great way to add more value to an ebook or another product that you may be selling. If you are selling an ebook on the topic of affiliate marketing, then offering the buyers some site templates that they can use to help sell affiliate products is a great value added idea!
- Profitable idea for selling pre-made websites; Why not purchase domain names for them and sell the site plus the domain name as a complete ready to go web site? You could sell this for a lot more then just the site itself, as it makes it a lot easier for the buyer.
PLR Software;
- When it comes to software you have to be a little more careful as to how you plan on reselling and editing it. Unless you are a good programmer or can outsource the work, I wouldn’t even try to edit any software program. But also, you want to make sure it works properly before reselling it, so you will want to test it thoroughly. Products with private label rights are great, but if you can not edit them, then there is no real difference between that and master resell rights.
- If you can easily edit it, then make sure to add your name to it and your web site information, as this will help to brand you. If you can outsource the work or do it yourself, then adding additional features to it will dramatically increase your chances of reselling it, but don’t just add useless tools to it just for the sake of adding features.
- Many people will be very happy if you can supply them with a great program to use, and they will pay a lot for it, as software programs tend to be able to sell for more.
In future blog posts I will write more about the other two types of PLR material, audio and video, as they are becoming more and more popular, so stay tuned for those. But in the mean time, let me know how you use your PLR material, post a comment below to share.

Interesting Info. I must say I hadn’t even thought about PRL websites/ Template. And PRL software? Really thats even more surprising. I had no idea anything like that existed.

Yes PLR can come in many forms. Used a lot off line too. Go to your grocery chain and see there store brand of canned goods etc.
Changing it up and making it there own even though the cans are all manufactured at the same place as some brand names.

Wow, there are more things that are PLR than just ebooks and articles. That gives you more ideas for using this stuff. Michael is right, you would never think about those other things as being PLR. Thanks.

Joel, interesting post. I am comfortable with writing but not graphics so the idea of graphics plr and changing it scares me, as it is beyond my current skill set. I suspect similar to your hesitancy to muck around with software. That said, I thinks its true of all of us. We are more comfortable with those thing we have a higher confidence in. That said, you article just points out that there are new horizons, and as PLR is the easiest way to break into new written products, it is likely also the easiest way to break into other genres as well.
Ever onward, ever learning, ever growing.

Joel,
Great information. I like the fact that you laid out what to look for and how you can distribute the products.
Keep the info coming.

Great info Joel,
You hear about PLR ebooks and articles all the time, but I had no idea that there were so many options. The software definitely sounds interesting, although I am pretty limited in what I could do personally with software. Know a little, but not a lot.
Will definitely have to keep a lookout for some of the other options.
Thanks,

Great information, Joel!
The wisest PLR software release I’ve seen was one about 3 years ago – all branding for the program was based on two graphics the program was designed to draw in & display – as a result, renaming it or branding it only required changing those two graphics. This is something creators of PLR software should keep in mind.
